Meet Our Teachers
Principal and Teacher
Ruth has been dancing since the age of 6. She trained with the Thompson School in Rotherham from 1976 - 1979, where she first qualified as a teacher with the British Ballet Organization (BBO). From there she went on to study Performing Arts at Leicester Polytechnic (now De Montford University), gaining BA (Hons) 2.1 in 1982. Subsequent training has led to further teaching qualifications with both the RAD and IDTA. She opened and has been running the dance school since 1987.
Teacher
Stefanie trained with the school from the age of 5 and as a young student showed an interest in teaching, helping out with many classes. She took some time out whilst taking her degree, and then returned to the school to take on more responsibility as a teacher, bringing with her her newly acquired street dance skills. She is now a fully qualified and registered teacher with both the RAD and the IDTA.
